CC2630F128RHBR
The CC2630 is a wireless MCU for ZigBee and 6LoWPAN applications. This device is part of the CC26xx family of cost-effective ultra-low power 2.4GHz RF devices.Extremely low active RF and MCU currents and low power mode current consumption ensure excellent battery life, allowing small coin cell batteries to be used in energy harvesting applications. The CC2630 includes a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor that operates at 48MHz the same frequency as the host processor and features a rich set of peripheral features, including a unique ultra-low-power sensor controller for when the system is in sleep mode.Ideal for connecting external sensors and/or autonomously acquiring analog and digital data while the system is in sleep mode.
With this feature, the CC2630 is ideal for battery-powered and energy harvesting terminal nodes in ZigBee/6LoWPAN networks.
The IEEE 802.15.4 MAC is embedded in ROM and runs separately on the ARM Cortex?-M0 processor.
This architecture improves overall system performance and power consumption and frees up flash for supply.
The ZigBee protocol stack is available free of charge at www.ti.com.
