The CC2640 is a wireless MCU for Bluetooth Smart applications.

This device is part of the CC26xx family of cost-effective ultra-low power 2.4GHz RF devices.Extremely low active RF and MCU currents and low power mode current consumption ensure excellent battery life.Allows a small button battery used in energy harvesting applications.

The CC2640 contains a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor.It has the same operating frequency as the main processor and is 48MHz. It has a rich set of peripheral functions.Includes a unique ultra low power sensor controller,Ideal for connecting external sensors and/or autonomously acquiring analog and digital data while the system is in sleep mode.
