Dialog's DA14583 is the world's smallest, lowest power, most integrated Bluetooth smart solution, giving users the freedom to develop Bluetooth 4.0 and 4.1 applications at will, without any performance sacrifices.

The longest battery life

The DA14583's transmit and receive current is only 4.9 mA - 50% lower than other similar Bluetooth smart solutions, which means that its battery life is doubled. In addition, the DA14580 operates at voltages as low as 0.9V: the best choice for energy harvesting in fully automated systems.

System cost is minimized

The DA14583 is packaged in a wafer-level chip size with a minimum size of 5 x 5 mm. It requires only five external components and can be used with an alkaline, nickel-manganese or coin cell battery – giving users the smallest and most distinctive product.

The high integration of the DA14583 (including an embedded 32-bit MCU, memory and a rich set of peripherals) ensures a minimum number of external components. Combined with the ability to integrate power management devices and smaller batteries, this product minimizes material costs (BoM), allowing you to develop low-cost, high-performance systems.

Simplified design

As one of the SmartBond? products, the DA14583 is extremely simple to design, supports fully managed applications without an external MCU, and has a complete development environment and Dialog's SmartSnippetsTM software support. In addition, the DA14583 can be used in compact, fully certified modules, speeding time-to-market and eliminating the need for RF expertise.
